Sydnee Maples

Sydnee Maples

Sydnee runs the multi-line phone system, assists with file maintenance and exhibit assembly, and also performs medical-legal transcription. She is a recent graduate of Oak Ridge High School, where she was active in California Youth & Government.

Sydnee is enrolled at Folsom Lake College. She lives in El Dorado Hills, California with her family and spends her free time enjoying friends and family. Sydnee can often be found at Base Camp Pizza, in South Lake Tahoe.

Allison Layton

Allison Layton

Allison serves as the firm's Legal Assistant and Records Clerk. She is experienced in ordering traffic collision reports, fire run reports, ambulance records and billing, medical records, medical billing, employment/personnel records, Medicare documentation, Medi-Cal documentation, VA records, and requests pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act. She assists in maintaining case files for pre-litigation, litigation, and trial preparation.

Allison graduated from Oak Ridge High School, and continued her education at Folsom Lake College, as well as Cuesta College where she earned her Associate's Degree.

Allison is currently enrolled in Lincoln Law School of Sacramento.

Jennifer Layton

Jennifer Layton

Jennifer is the firm’s Legal Secretary and Office Manager. She graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1994 with a degree in Political Science. She served as a Congressional Intern during college and spent the early part of her post-college career working on political campaigns across California. In 2005, Jennifer earned a substitute teaching credential which allowed her to work part-time while raising her three children, with her husband, Buster.  She enjoys traveling, reading, visiting museums, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jennifer manages the office and communicates with clients throughout all phases of their case. She specializes in litigation and trial preparation.

She is a recent graduate of Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, earning her Juris Doctorate Degree.

Denise Maples

Denise Maples

Denise Maples went to the University of Alaska, Anchorage. She also attended the ABA approved paralegal program at American River College, graduating second in her class. She has an A.A. in Legal Studies. Denise was formerly employed at the Law Office of Mark Stawicki. Denise handles accounting, purchasing, and payroll. As a paralegal, Denise opens, reviews, and maintains the case files, opens insurance claims, records statutes of limitation, provides cases status updates, assists in accident investigation, and performs all other functions of a paralegal. She assists in pre-litigation, litigation, and trial preparation.

Denise spends her free time with her husband, three children, daughter-in-law, and granddaughters.
